What does Paceloop do?

It runs your store through one loop, on a fixed cycle. You set a growth goal. Paceloop pressure-tests it against 90 days of your real numbers and tells you whether it holds up. It diagnoses the single constraint most limiting your growth right now. It builds a right-sized plan of one to three behaviors — plus an explicit list of what to stop doing. Then it tracks your pace against the goal week by week, and meets you for a weekly check-in on what ran and what changes.

Who is it for?

Shopify store owners who set targets and want to know, mid-cycle, whether they are actually going to hit them. You can install it at any stage, including a store that has not sold anything yet: the win ladder measures every threshold against your own store, so it works from day one.

The part that needs history is the analysis. Pressure-testing a target and naming your single constraint are built on roughly 90 days of trading data, and below that Paceloop says the data is thin rather than guessing.

Does Paceloop change anything in my store?

Nothing that holds your store's data. The one thing Paceloop can write is a growth target in your Shopify Analytics — the goal you set in the app, mirrored where you already look, and never deleted by us. It cannot edit products, orders, customers, inventory, themes, or settings — not by design choice, but because Shopify never grants it the ability. What if my store doesn't have much data yet?

The analysis says so and stops, rather than guessing. If there is not enough history to name your constraint with confidence, Paceloop returns an explicit "insufficient data" result and tells you which metric it could not read. The same applies to individual figures: anything it cannot measure is shown as unavailable, never filled in with an estimate.

You are not left with an empty app in the meantime. The win ladder gives you a small number of concrete next steps — first product live, first visit, first order — verified from your store rather than self-reported, so there is something real to work on while the trading history accumulates.

Can I change my goal partway through a cycle?

Yes. During a weekly check-in Paceloop may itself recommend revising the target down if the pace data no longer supports it. You can also close a cycle early and start a new one with a different goal. Closed cycles stay in your history with their outcome recorded, so the record of what you aimed for stays honest.

What can I do for free?

Installing Paceloop, running the complete growth audit, activating a cycle, and your first two weekly check-ins cost nothing: set your goal, get it pressure-tested against your real numbers, see your diagnosed constraint, start the plan, and feel the weekly loop run twice — before paying anything.

What does the paid plan unlock?

$29/month, one plan, same price in every market. It keeps the loop running from your third check-in onward: weekly check-ins, closing and replanning cycles, and asking Sidekick about your live cycle data. Your pace scoreboard stays live for as long as the loop runs.

How do I cancel?

From your Shopify admin, under Settings → Apps and sales channels → Paceloop, or by uninstalling the app. Billing is handled entirely by Shopify and appears on your regular Shopify invoice. Cancelling stops future charges; uninstalling also deletes your data, as described in the privacy policy.

Do I need to use Sidekick?

No. Paceloop is a complete app on its own — every part of the loop works from the app's own screens. Sidekick is an additional way in, not a requirement.

What can I ask Sidekick?

Whether you are on pace, what your diagnosed constraint is, how a past cycle turned out, whether a goal you are considering is realistic, and what a plan for it would look like. Answers come from your own stored data, and Paceloop says when a figure is stale rather than presenting it as live.

Sidekick can also open Paceloop pre-filled from your conversation — for example, to start a growth plan or log a check-in. Nothing is saved to your plan from the conversation itself; you review and confirm it in the app.

What does Paceloop store, and is it deleted if I uninstall?

It stores your goals, plans, check-ins, and snapshots of aggregated figures from your analytics — never your customers' personal data. When you uninstall, all of it is deleted, and the deletion runs a second time about 48 hours later so nothing survives a failed first attempt. The privacy policy lists exactly what is stored, where it lives, and what is erased.

Does Paceloop use AI, and what does it send?

Some of the wording you see — the title, description, and congratulation line of each suggested win — is written with help from Anthropic. What it receives: how many products you have, your most common product types, up to ten product titles, whether your sales are growing or declining, your store’s country, the thresholds Paceloop already computed, and your answers to the four setup questions if you filled them in. It never receives customer data, order line items, revenue figures, or your contact details, and no model is trained on any of it.

Every number you see is computed by Paceloop itself — the wording service cannot change or invent a figure. If it is unavailable, the app shows its standard wording and nothing else changes. The privacy policy has the full description.

If you are reporting something broken, include your store URL and what you were doing when it happened — that is usually enough for us to reproduce it.

Something in the app looks wrong. What should I do?

Tell us, with the figure you expected and the figure Paceloop showed. Paceloop is built to state when it cannot measure something rather than fill in a plausible number, so a wrong figure is a bug we want to know about.
